A shopping basket for a stroller (B) has a box-like body (7) of a square cross-section made of a fine mesh or a flexible cloth which is easily foldable. A bottom plate (8) is secured at its periphery to the lower end of the body. The box-like body has such a size and depth that it can be attached to the underside of a seat portion (61) of the stroller by holder straps (9).
