At the time of attachment of the head to the shaft, the head is selectively positionable at one of a plurality of angles. The present invention permits the golf club to be configured, e.g., as a function of the playing position of the golfer such that the head of the golf club is permitted to remain substantially flat with respect to the hitting surface.
