In such a headrest, the shaft is rotatably supported, and a motor is fixed within the seat back such that the motor is disposed at the lower part of the lateral side of the seat back and has a second sprocket. The second sprocket is connected via an endless chain with a first sprocket fixed on the shaft. Thus, the drive of the motor causes a fore-and-aft rotation of the headrest body whereby the headrest body is displaced between a use and non-use position, with repect to the seat back.
