When the dispenser is operated, air from inside the dispenser is mixed with the fluid to produce foam. The dispenser employs a check valve in the form of a ball and cylinder disposed outside of the path of liquid flow for use in controlling the backward flow of air from outside the dispenser into the interior to recharge the air supply within the dispenser for use in subsequent foam dispensing operations.
