An improved luggage unit which has hollow spaces for receiving pouches in which toilette articles or other articles can be placed. The luggage item has quick release fastening structure on the inner walls for releasably connecting the pouches to the interior of the luggage unit. Thus, the pouches can be readily separated from and placed in the luggage unit and placed at a convenient location for access to the contents of the pouches.
