The pivot pin includes male and female pin members which interengage in a tight fit so as to function as a single pin when fitted together. A bore extends through both of the male and female pin members, with the bore through the female pin member being threaded. A securing device such as a socket head capscrew passes through the male pin member from the outer to the inner end portion thereof and is threadedly received in the female pin member.
