A low profile snowplowable road marker and method of installation is disclosed. The snowplowable road marker has a circular top section with opposed dished surfaces extending from a peripheral edge. The peripheral edge is mounted in an outer bore below the level of the road surface. A bridge portion extends between a pair of channels.
