An automobile glass pane prepared for adhesive bonding to the fastening flange of a window frame comprises a profiled spacer having a web aligned approximately perpendicular to the glass pane. Adjacent the web is a bead of a plastic adhesive having a high adhesion with respect to the spacer and with respect to the fastening flange.
