A method for producing a vehicular endless track link comprising the steps of: forging a link material of low-carbon boron steel at a temperature about 1200°C.; quench-hardening said link material by rapidly cooling said link material from a temperature above about 760°C. so that a metallic crystal structure of said link material is converted to martensite; and tempering said link material at a temperature of about 200°C.
