An annular trough is formed integrally with the rim of a bowl-like wok to provide a place to store and cook ingredients individually while one or more other ingredients are being cooked in the bowl. A cover used in combination with the wok is comprised of sheet metal formed as a truncated hemispherical configuration by metal spinning techniques.
