A dispenser having a manually-operated dispensing valve assembly has a container for accommodating a spray product. The bottom of the container has a recess adapted to cooperate with a tube used to deliver air under pressure from an air pump into the container. The container includes a check valve which allows air to flow into the chamber of the container and prevent the flow of air out of the chamber of the container.
