The storage arrangement includes a plurality of upright divider walls connected to and rising from the floor of the housing and dividing the interior cavity of the housing into separate compartments extending from the open front end of the housing to the back wall of the housing for receiving tape cartridges standing on edge therein and also includes a plurality of retention tabs for releasably interfitting with respective notches defined on the tape cartridges when inserted into the compartments with the retention tabs being attached to the divider walls and protruding laterally into the compartments.
