A portable puzzle storage board provides an assembly surface for jigsaw type puzzles and a simple mechanism for securing the puzzle pieces in place. The pieces are secured with a flexible cover which may be easily engaged and disengaged with the retainer frame of the puzzle storage board to provide a simple and quick way of storing a completed puzzle or partially assembled puzzle.
