[ I claim as my invention:] [1.] A transporting device for use in carrying a recalcitrant person from one location to another over a relatively hard surface, said device comprising a chair having a seat and a back held together at an angle of between 100.degree. and 120.degree., arms extending alongside and above the level of said seat, front legs extending from the seat to a position in which to contact said surface, fixed brackets extending downwardly from a position on said back between the top of said back and said angle between said seat and said back, said brackets extending towards said surface and, wheels journalled on said brackets beneath said back whereby said chair may be rolled over said surface by tilting the chair backward and will be held in position by tilting the chair forward so that said front legs contact said surface.
