Four design variants of a full-flow burner for the thermal regeneration of a particle filter in an exhaust gas aftertreatment system of an internal combustion engine, especially a diesel engine, which is arranged fully in the tailpipe, especially in an expanded, straight coaxial tailpipe section, are suggested according to the present invention. As a result, the flow can enter a particle filter axially, which means simplified design and good temperature distribution.
