A Portable Automated Water Purifier and Method is disclosed. Also disclosed is a preferred purifier that accepts supply water from a common water spigot and purifies it via a reverse osmosis (or other preferred filtration) process. The purified water is dispensed into a vessel until such time as a non-intrusive level detector indicates that the vessel is fill.
