A wheel and brake assembly comprising an axle, a bearing supported on the axle, a wheel rotatably mounted on the axle by the bearing and a torque tube located in a fixed position about the axle. The torque tube includes a torque tube foot extending radially inward from the torque tube to the axle for support by the axle.
