A ball-wheeled planter has ball wheels (5) in sockets (6) attached to portions of bottoms (2) of a plant container (1). Preferably the planter has trickle irrigation and fertilizer conveyances (13) from a fluid container (12, 16, 28, 29, 36, 41) proximate a top portion (9) of the planter. A drain basin (10, 20, 23, 25, 31) can have a convenient return pump (17) with manual, electrical or wick operation for returning flow-through water to a top portion of soil in the planter.
