A bag for carrying a guitar stand. The bag comprises a box shaped pouch having four walls, a bottom, an openable flap on top for a lid, and an interior compartment defined by the walls, bottom and lid. The flap and front wall of the pouch are provided with mating fasteners for securing the flap shut. The exterior surface of the front wall is provided with two loops, located on the lower portion of the wall approximately perpendicular to each other.
