The vacuum cleaner hose clip includes a first curvilinear arm adapted to wrap partially around a portion of a vacuum cleaner hose, and a second curvilinear arm adapted to wrap completely around a second portion of a vacuum cleaner hose to hold the vacuum cleaner hose portions together. The clip further includes a locking mechanism to secure the second curvilinear arm in position around the vacuum hose.
