The bracket also comprises a leaf plate having aligned upward and downward ears which pivot in the respective apertures, and the dimensions of the plate permit some vertical movement of the plate so that it can clear the blocking surface. The plate has a perpendicular flat tongue adapted to slip into a slot at one end of the shade to immobilize a portion of the power unit. The blocking surface keeps the plate from swinging open.
