The present invention system includes a main housing having a hollow inside and having a top, a bottom, a front, and a back and at least one sidewall, and having an opening accessible to the hollow inside area. There is also a telescopically extendable and contractible pole attached at a first end to the hollow inside area of the main housing and attached to a collapsible frame at its second end. The collapsible frame unfolds for a waste receptacle, i.e. a "pooper" bag, and is spaced behind the pet during defecation. In some embodiments, an attachment hook is located on said main housing for attachment thereof to a leash, a belt, or other attachable area or item.

A connector as claimed in claim 7, wherein movement of the second actuator collar in axial direction causes movement of the loading portion of the locking assembly in a radial direction, radial movement of the loading portion causing the loading member to apply an axial tensile load to the locking assembly. 9. A connector as claimed in claim 8, wherein the loading member is a loading ring disposed radially outwards of the loading portion of the locking assembly. 10. A connector as claimed in claim 9, further comprising a gasket, wherein the loading member is moveable in an axial direction under the action of applying an axial tensile load to the locking assembly to thereby set the gasket to provide a seal between the housing and the second tubular member. 11. A connector as claimed in claim 8, wherein the loading portion of the locking assembly comprises a first taper and the loading member comprises a second taper, the first and second tapers cooperating, whereby radial movement of the loading portion of the locking assembly moves the first taper against the second, thereby applying an axial tensile load on the locking assembly. 12. A connector as claimed in claim 8, wherein the second actuator collar comprises a taper, whereby axial movement of the second actuator collar allows the taper to urge the loading portion of the locking assembly in a radial direction. 13. A connector as claimed in claim 5, wherein the locking assembly comprises a plurality of axially extending locking members, each locking member having a locking portion at a first end and a loading portion at a second end. 14. A connector as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first actuator and the second actuator comprise first and second actuator portions of a single actuator collar moveable in an axial direction, axial movement of the single actuator collar causing the first actuator to move the locking assembly from the unlocked position to the locked position, continued axial movement of the single actuator collar causing the second actuator to cause an axial tensile load to be applied to the locking assembly. 15. A connector as claimed in claim 1, wherein the locking assembly is biased into the unlocked position. 16. A connector as claimed in claim 1, wherein the locking assembly is moveable from the locked position to the unlocked position. 17. A connector as claimed in claim 16, wherein a first force may be applied to move the locking assembly from the unlocked position to the locked position and a second force may be applied to move the locking assembly from the locked position to the unlocked position, the second force being greater than the first force. 18. A connector as claimed in claim 1, wherein the first and second actuators are activated by hydraulic pressure. 19. A connector as claimed in claim 1, further comprising an override assembly, operation of the override assembly causing the locking assembly to be moved from the locked position to the unlocked position. 20. A connector as claimed in claim 19, wherein the override assembly comprises a lock for securing the locking assembly in the locked position. 21. A connector as claimed in claim 19, wherein the override assembly comprises an indicator to indicate the position of the locking assembly. 22. A connector as claimed in claim 1, further comprising a centralizing ring for centrally locating the position of the first tubular member with respect to the second tubular member. 23. A connector as claimed in claim 22, wherein the connector when installed in the second tubular member creates a couple between the centralizing ring and the region of contact of the seating surface of the housing and the seating surface of the second tubular member capable of resisting bending moments between the first and second tubular members
