A pressure system operably connected to the inflatable component for controllably inflating the inflatable component. A source of electromagnetic radiation optically associated with the base support and inflatable component for providing a beam of light to the object and an optical detecting system optically aligned with the source of electromagnetic radiation for receiving the electromagnetic radiation passing through and/or being backscattered from the object. A method of providing a communication system to be coupled to a phone line, comprising: coupling an isolation barrier between powered circuitry and phone line side circuitry; and operating low voltage circuits in an integrated portion of the phone line side circuitry, the low voltage circuits having a low voltage power supply level generated from power supplied from the phone line at a sufficiently low voltage level so as not to require low voltage drop hookswitch devices and low voltage drop diode bridge diodes to couple the integrated portion of the phone line side circuitry to the phone line. 11. The method of claim 10, further comprising utilizing a capacitive barrier to isolate the powered circuitry and the phone line circuitry. 12. The method of claim 10, further comprising passing digital data across the isolation barrier. 13. The method of claim 12, further comprising utilizing a capacitive barrier to isolate the powered circuitry and the phone line circuitry. 14. The method of claim 10, further comprising operating the low voltage circuits at a voltage level of 2.5 V or less. 15. The method of claim 14, wherein the low voltage circuits are low voltage converters. 16. The method of claim 15, further comprising utilizing a capacitive barrier to isolate the powered circuitry and the phone line circuitry and passing digital data across the isolation barrier. 17. Phone line communication circuitry connectable to a phone line, comprising: phone line side circuitry configured to communicate with a phone line and configured to communicate with powered side circuitry through an isolation barrier; and at least one low voltage circuit within a phone line side integrated circuit and coupled to the phone line, the low voltage circuit being a converter circuit that has at least one low voltage power supply level generated from the phone line, wherein the low voltage circuit is supplied with power through a node coupled to the phone line, the node having a voltage level of 2.5 V or less. 18. The phone line communication circuitry of claim 17, the voltage level being 2.0 V or less. 19. The phone line communication circuitry of claim 17, the voltage level being sufficiently low so as to allow coupling of the phone line side integrated circuit to the phone line through hookswitch devices and diode bridge devices without the hookswitch devices and diode bridge devices being low voltage drop devices. 20. The phone line communication circuitry of claim 17 wherein low voltage circuits are operable even if the hookswitch devices have a voltage drop of approximately 1 V or greater and the diode bridge has a voltage drop of approximately 1.4 V or greater. 21. The phone line communication circuitry of claim 17 wherein the isolation barrier is a capacitive isolation barrier. 22. A method of powering at least a portion of a phone line communication circuit for use in terminating a phone line, comprising: providing a phone line side integrated circuit configured to communicate with a powered side integrated circuit through an isolation barrier; coupling a low voltage circuit within the phone line side integrated circuit to at least one external device, the low voltage circuits having a low voltage power supply level; coupling the at least one external device to TIP and RING phone lines; and supplying a voltage from the TIP and RING phone lines to the low voltage circuit, the voltage being at a level of 2.5 V or less at an input to the low voltage circuit. 23.
