A sink, and a method of reducing vibration and resulting noise of such sinks, are disclosed. The sink includes a basin, a drain and first and second pads. The basin has a bottom wall, side walls, and inner and outer surfaces of such walls. The drain is in the bottom of the basin, and first and second regions are defined between the drain orifice and the first and second sides, respectively.
