A scroll expresser of a refrigerant system includes a non-orbiting expander scroll plate and an orbiting expander scroll plate which form a plurality of expansion chambers and a non-orbiting compressor scroll plate and a orbiting compressor scroll plate which form a plurality of compression chambers. The scroll expresser expands high pressure refrigerant in the expansion chambers to low pressure vapor refrigerant and liquid refrigerant. The liquid refrigerant exits the scroll expresser for evaporation. The vapor refrigerant is compressed in the compression chambers and mixes with the refrigerant exiting the compressor. Alternatively, the orbiting scroll plates are integrated into one component.

The manual boost control valve according to claim 1, wherein said means for adjusting the degree of bias placed upon said biased stopper includes a spring providing a biasing force on said biased stopper according to the degree of compression of said spring, and means for adjusting the degree of compression of said spring. 5. The manual boost control valve according to claim 4, wherein said means for adjusting the degree of compression of said spring includes a knob adapted to be accessible from within the cockpit of the automobile, and a cable interconnected between said knob and said restriction coupling, turning of said knob causes rotation of said cable to selectively increase or decrease the compression of said spring. t least one sintering space in the lumen of the support tube comprises the steps of forming a first sintering space in the lumen of the support tube by inserting a first sintering mandrel into the lumen of the support tube and temporarily fixing said first mandrel therein; and forming a second sintering space in the lumen of the support body by inserting a second sintering mandrel into the lumen of the support tube and temporarily fixing said second mandrel therein, and further wherein the step of forming the reinforcing body comprises the steps of: introducing a portion from said material to be sintered into said first sintering space, sintering the material within said first sintering space, and removing the first sintering mandrel from said lumen; and introducing a portion from said material to be sintered into said second sintering space, sintering the material within said second sintering space, and removing the second sintering mandrel from said lumen. 13. The method as claimed in claim 12 comprising a step sequence of inserting said second sintering mandrel into the lumen of the support tube after sintering said material within said first sintering space.
