A multi-tube differential pressure testing system for testing catalyst filled tubes of tube and shell type catalytic reactors having an upper tube sheet and multiple catalyst tubes having upper ends thereof fixed to the upper tube sheet. The system has at least one mobile support device for selective positioning on the upper tube sheet of a catalytic reactor. A plurality of testing tubes are mounted to the mobile support device and are selectively positionable in sealed gas pressure communicating engagement with the upper ends of a plurality of reactor tubes. A pressure testing gas delivery system is interconnected with the testing tubes and is adapted for communicating pressurized gas at a selected test pressure to the testing tubes and into the reactor tubes being engaged thereby. A differential pressure measurement system is provided in the testing system for measuring the back pressure resulting from application of gas pressure at the selected test pressure to the reactor tubes being tested and having a differential pressure indicator system providing a visual indication of the resulting back pressure of each reactor tube being tested.

A multi-tube differential pressure testing system for testing catalyst filled tubes of tube and shell type catalytic reactors having an upper tube sheet and multiple catalyst tubes having upper ends thereof fixed to the upper tube sheet. The system has at least one mobile support device for selective positioning on the upper tube sheet of a catalytic reactor. A plurality of testing tubes are mounted to the mobile support device and are selectively positionable in sealed gas pressure communicating engagement with the upper ends of a plurality of reactor tubes. A pressure testing gas delivery system is interconnected with the testing tubes and is adapted for communicating pressurized gas at a selected test pressure to the testing tubes and into the reactor tubes being engaged thereby. A differential pressure measurement system is provided in the testing system for measuring the back pressure resulting from application of gas pressure at the selected test pressure to the reactor tubes being tested and having a differential pressure indicator system providing a visual indication of the resulting back pressure of each reactor tube being tested. the key ring; and opening a door so that the door engages the key ring causing the key ring to fall to the floor. 7. The method of claim 6 further comprising the steps of: securing a lever to the door adjacent having a downwardly tapered edge adjacent to the retaining bracket; disposing the lever through the key ring by opening the door; sliding the key ring down the tapered edge and off of the lever. 1995.
