The endless video recording apparatus as set forth in claim 1, characterized in that it comprises endless recording area setting means (110; 210; 310) for dynamically and adjustably setting the endless recording area in accordance with increase or decrease of the free area in said recording medium (12). 10. The endless video recording apparatus as set forth in claim 9, characterized in that, when a releasing request is received from another application, said endless recording area setting means (110; 210; 310) releases the endless recording area in accordance with the releasing request. 11. The endless video recording apparatus as set forth in claim 1, characterized in that it comprises endless recording area setting means (110; 210; 310) for setting a predetermined area in said recording medium (12) as the endless recording area preferentially to a request from any other application. 12.
