A method is disclosed for controlling the movement of a position indicating item displayed on a screen in accordance with an output signal of control means including a pressure-sensitive resistor which outputs a signal whose level varies depending upon a pressing force applied to an operating element. The method includes a signal level detection step for detecting the signal level of the signal output by the control means; a moving speed setting step for setting the moving speed of the position indicating item displayed on the screen in accordance with the signal level detected in the signal level detection step; and an item moving step for moving the position indicating item at the moving speed set in the moving speed setting step.

A method is disclosed for controlling the movement of a position indicating item displayed on a screen in accordance with an output signal of control means including a pressure-sensitive resistor which outputs a signal whose level varies depending upon a pressing force applied to an operating element. The method includes a signal level detection step for detecting the signal level of the signal output by the control means; a moving speed setting step for setting the moving speed of the position indicating item displayed on the screen in accordance with the signal level detected in the signal level detection step; and an item moving step for moving the position indicating item at the moving speed set in the moving speed setting step. in said first unitary member includes a conductive base segment disposed between said first and second radiating elements. 4. The antenna of claim 1 wherein said insulating cap has a cross shape. 5. The antenna of claim 1 wherein each said radiating element has an upward extending protrusion, wherein said cap has an opening securingly receiving said respective protrusion. 6. The antenna of claim 2 wherein said first radiating element is shaped to have a 90° bend forming 2 perpendicular sections, and said second radiating element is shaped to have a 90° bend forming 2 perpendicular sections. 7. The antenna of claim 6 wherein said first and second radiating elements form a cross-shaped antenna. 8. The antenna of claim 1 wherein said first and second radiating elements each comprise coupling structure adapted to couple to an air dielectric stripline feed member. 9. The antenna of claim 1 further comprising a second unitary member identical to said first unitary member, and being orthogonal to the first unitary member. 10. The antenna of claim 8 wherein said first radiating element and said second radiating element each have a base portion electrically coupled to each other below said coupling structure. 11. The antenna of claim 1 wherein said first air dielectric stripline feed member is coupled to a respective section of said first and second radiating element adapted to radiate in a first direction, and said second air dielectric stripline feed member is coupled to a respective section of said first and second radiating elements adapted to radiate in a second direction being different than said first direction. 12. The antenna of claim 11 wherein said first and second directions are 90° with respect to each other forming a dipole antenna. 13. A dual polarized antenna, comprising: a first unitary member formed into both a first vertically oriented radiating element and a second vertically oriented radiating element being orthogonal to the first radiating element; wherein said first unitary member comprises a stamped sheet of metal folded into said first and second radiating elements forming a cross-shaped antenna; wherein said first radiating element is shaped to have a 90° bend forming 2 perpendicular sections, and said second radiating element is shaped to have a 90° bend forming 2 perpendicular sections; and further comprising a first air dielectric stripline feed member coupled to said first and second radiating elements, and a second air dielectric feed member coupled to said first and second radiating elements. 14. The antenna of claim 13 wherein a portion of said first air dielectric stripline feed member is orthogonal to a portion of said second air dielectric stripline feed member. 15. The antenna of claim 13 wherein each said first and second air dielectric stripline feed members are each a unitary member. 16. The antenna of claim 15 wherein each said first and second air dielectric stripline feed members are formed from a sheet of conductive material and bent. 17. The antenna of claim 16 wherein said first an second air dielectric stripline feed members each have a segment extending between said first and second radiating elements, said segments being orthogonal to each other. 18. The antenna of claim 17 wherein said segments have a length being a function of the wavelength of a nominal operating parameter of said antennas. 19. A dual polarized antenna, comprising: a first unitary member formed into both a first vertically oriented radiating element and a second vertically oriented radiating element being orthogonal to the first radiating element, wherein said first unitary member comprises a stamped sheet of metal folded into said first and second radiating elements and includes a conductive base segment disposed between said first and second radiating elements; and further comprising an electrically non-conductive base member coupled to said base segment, said base member contoured to reduce moisture between said first and second radiating elements. 20. A dual polarized antenna, comprising: a first unitary member formed into both a first vertically oriented radiating element and a second vertically oriented radiating element being orthogonal to the first radiating element, a first air dielectric stripline feed member coupled to the first and second radiating elements, and a second air dielectric feed member coupled to the first and second radiating elements; and at least one electrically non-conductive spacer member supporting the first air dielectric stripline feed member, the spacer member being contoured to prevent moisture from accumulating proximate the first air dielectric stripline. 21. The antennas as specified in claim 20 wherein the spacer has a member securing to a portion of the first air dielectric strip line feed member.
