A compact rooftop air conditioning unit for a vehicle, such as a bus, having an evaporator coil located in front of a condenser coil. A plurality of cylindrical blowers are mounted adjacent the evaporator coil and arranged to provide conditioned supply air to the interior of the vehicle.
