초록

In a process for operation of an internal combustion engine having a NOx storage catalytic converter, after desulfuration is required the mode of operation of the internal combustion engine is changed to λ1<1 and secondary air is injected upstream from the NOx storage catalytic converter (4) during a first time interval T1.
