The engine generator according to claim 1 further comprising:an air cleaner;a carburetor; andan electrical component;the air cleaner and the carburetor being housed in the engine-side air intake chamber, and the electrical component being housed in the generator-side air intake chamber. 4. The engine generator according to claim 2 further comprising:a partition disposed above the exhaust muffler so as to form an exhaust chamber between the partition and the soundproofing case, the exhaust chamber forming a part of the ventilation pathways; anda pipe for guiding exhaust gas from the exhaust muffler, the pipe communicating with the exhaust chamber. 5. The engine generator according to claim 3 further comprising:a partition disposed above the exhaust muffler so as to form an exhaust chamber between the partition and the soundproofing case, the exhaust chamber forming a part of the ventilation pathways; anda pipe for guiding exhaust gas from the exhaust muffler, the pipe communicating with the exhaust chamber. 6. The engine generator according to any one of claims 1 to 5 further comprising:an engine-side cooling fan provided in the engine;an engine-side inlet provided in the engine for guiding cooling air to the engine-side cooling fan;an engine-side partition fixedly disposed in the soundproofing case so that the engine-side inlet faces the engine-side air intake chamber;a generator-side cooling fan provided in the generator;a generator-side inlet provided in the generator for guiding cooling air to the generator-side cooling fan; anda generator-side partition fixedly disposed in the soundproofing case so that the generator-side inlet faces the generator-side air intake chamber;the engine-side partition and the generator-side partition dividing the soundproofing case into three, that is, the chamber to be cooled, the engine-side air intake chamber, and the generator-side air intake chamber; andthe engine-side and generator-side outside air inlets provided in the soundproofing case providing communication between the outside and lower parts of the engine-side air intake chamber and the generator-side air intake chamber.
