An applicator comprising:a reservoir for holding therein an application liquid;a valve assembly disposed in a distal region of the reservoir;a tip disposed in front of the valve assembly;the valve assembly comprising:a valve chamber having a forward opening;a valve body held in the chamber and movable fore and aft; anda biasing member for urging the valve body to be pressed against a circular rim around the opening so as to close it,the valve body having a distal portion in contact with a rear end of the tip, wherein the application liquid stored in the reservoir has a viscosity of 100 mPa·s or less, and the applicator further comprises a follower disposed in the reservoir and in rear of a column of the liquid so as to control flow rate of the liquid flowing out through the opening of the valve chamber, with the follower serving also as a back-flow inhibitor for the application liquid, and wherein a viscous material forming the follower shows the value of at highest ‘2’ as the ratio of viscosity at 5° C. to viscosity at 35° C.

1. An applicator comprising: a reservoir for storing therein a given amount of an application liquid; and a valve assembly secured to a distal region of the reservoir, the valve assembly comprising a valve chamber having a forward opening, a valve body placed in the valve chamber, and a biasing member for urging the valve body to be pressed on a rim defining the opening so as to close the opening; the applicator further comprising an applying tip with a rear end that is in contact with a forward end of the valve body protruding forwards from the valve opening; and wherein the applicator further comprises a tip stopper incorporated therein so that tip retraction beyond a limit is inhibited, and a distal end of the valve chamber is located in rear of a proximal end of the tip which the tip stopper supports, the valve chamber being a cylinder with a distal end portion that is constricted forwards, wherein the valve assembly is a liquid-supplying valve assembly and comprises a valve chamber having a valve seat, with the valve seat having an opening opened forwardly, a valve body accommodated in the chamber and movable fore and aft to rest on and depart from the seat, and a flow restrainer also placed in the chamber and movable fore and aft and disposed rear of the valve body, the applicator further comprising a biasing member disposed rear of the flow restrainer such that the biasing member urges the valve body through the restrainer towards the seat. 2. An applicator comprising: a reservoir for storing therein a given amount of an application liquid; and a valve assembly secured to a distal region of the reservoir, the valve assembly comprising a valve chamber having a forward opening, a valve body placed in the valve chamber, and a biasing member for urging the valve body to be pressed on a rim defining the opening so as to close the opening; the applicator further comprising an applying tip with a rear end that is in contact with a forward end of the valve body protruding forwards from the valve opening; wherein the applicator further comprises a tip stopper incorporated therein, the tip stopper is disposed around a forward end of the valve chamber and has an engageable portion capable of bearing against a rear face of the tip that is retracted, and the engageable portion is located behind a distal portion of the valve body protruding forwards from the valve opening, but ahead of a distal end of the valve chamber, said applicator further comprising a valve rest for delimiting retraction distance of the valve body, so that there is provided a space between the valve rest and a forward opening of the valve chamber, in which space the valve body is capable of reciprocating fore and aft, with the valve body engaging the valve rest, a forward end of the valve body takes a position protruding forwards from the valve opening but behind an engageable portion of the tip stopper then in contact with a rear end face of the tip. 3. An applicator comprising: a reservoir for storing therein an amount of an application liquid; and a liquid-supplying valve assembly disposed in a distal portion of the reservoir, the valve assembly comprising a valve body and a biasing member so that the valve body accommodated in a valve chamber having a forward opening is urged by the biasing member to bear against a rim around the opening so as to close the opening; wherein the applicator further comprises an applying tip disposed in front of the valve assembly, so that a rear end of the tip is kept in contact with the valve body; wherein the applicator further comprises a tip stopper incorporated therein so that tip retraction beyond a limit is inhibited, and a distal end of the valve chamber is located in rear of a proximal end of the tip which the tip stopper supports, the valve chamber being a cylinder with a distal end portion constricted forwards; and wherein a check valve is interposed between the valve assembly and the reservoir. 4. An applicator as defined in claim 3, wherein the check valve consists of a spherical valve body and a valve seat having a bore, the bore communicating with the interior of the reservoir, with the valve body capable of moving fore and aft due to gravitational force and capable of closing the check valve when the applicator is put upside down.5. An applicator as defined in claim 4, further comprising a distal stopper disposed in a forward end of the reservoir and having an axially extending aperture for feeding application liquid, wherein the valve assembly is secured in a distal region of the distal stopper, with the check valve being secured in a proximal region of the distal stopper.6. An applicator as defined in claim 5, wherein a valve seat of the check valve is formed in a proximal region of the distal stopper and around the axially extending aperture so that a distal end thereof serves as the valve opening, the spherical valve body of the check valve is placed in a middle region of said aperture, wherein a fine clearance is defined between the outer periphery of the spherical valve body and an inner periphery of said aperture, and a displacement-limiting member also formed in said middle region is located ahead the spherical valve body, thereby keeping forward motion thereof within limits.7. An applicator comprising: a reservoir for storing therein a given amount of an application liquid; and a valve assembly secured to a distal region of the reservoir;the valve assembly comprising a valve chamber having a forward opening, a valve body placed in the chamber, and a first biasing member for urging the valve body to be pressed on a rim defining the opening so as to close the opening, wherein the applicator further comprises an applying tip having a rear end that is in contact with the valve body; wherein the applicator further comprises a tip stopper incorporated therein so that tip retraction beyond a limit is inhibited, and a distal end of the valve chamber is located rear of a proximal end of the tip which the tip stopper supports, the valve chamber being a cylinder with a distal end portion constricted forwards; and wherein the applicator further comprises a second biasing member incorporated therein that urges backwards the applying tip with an urging force weaker than a force generated by the first biasing member. 8. An applicator as defined in claim 7, wherein the applying tip comprises a distal small diameter portion integral with a proximal large diameter portion, so that the second biasing member is disposed in a stepped region between the small diameter and large diameter portions.9. An applicator as defined in claim 8, wherein the second biasing member is a cylindrical polyurethane piece fitted on the small diameter portion.10. An applicator as defined in claim 8, wherein the second biasing member is a liquid-absorptive cylindrical piece fitted on the small diameter portion of the tip and capable of absorbing application liquid.
