The kit of claim 9, wherein the releasable latch mechanism includes a button for releasably unsecuring the lid from the base unit to convert the unit from one of a step or kneeler to the other of a step or kneeler.15. The kit of claim 9, wherein the lid includes two ends and there are two releasable latch mechanisms, and each releasable latch mechanism is associated with a respective end.16. The kit of claim 1, wherein the armrest is convertible between a compact position received by the receptacle to produce the step stool and an unfolded position engageable with the bathtub to produce the kneeler.17.
