Depressions that protrude toward the interior of the closed ring so that they approach each other are formed at the central portions of both side walls of the closed ring. A vertically extending slot is formed in each of the side walls. Wires are inserted through each of the open ends and the slots, then pressure is applied so that the portion where the ends of the bent metal plate are coupled and the central portion approach each other. The pressure compressively deforms the connector, and the wires are electrical connected to each other.
