A method for producing a combustible cartridge case for cartridge ammunition, wherein an aqueous pulp containing nitrocellulose and cellulose fibers is produced, a raw felt is produced from the pulp through draining the fiber material on a sieve, and the raw felt is then compressed and shaped.
