The apparatus of claim 7 wherein the relief is formed in the first surface and the retainer is coupled to the second surface.9. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein the mattress and the foundation each has first and second sides, the first surface comprises one of the ends of the mattress and the second surface comprises one of the ends of the foundation.10. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein one of the first and second surfaces is generally vertical.11. The apparatus of claim 7, wherein the elongated and laterally-extending relief and retainer each extend along a majority of the width of the mattress.
