초록

The production of tetrabasic lead sulfate by means of solid state reactions at high temperatures allow the formation of powders having a particle size of less than 10 μm. In the methods the chemical reaction that takes place between lead oxide and different sulfated compounds occurs in a single high temperature treatment. The sulfated compounds used in the present invention to produce the tetrabasic lead sulfate are: PbSO4, 3PbO.PbSO4.H2O, H2 SO4 and (NH4)2SO4. A solid state reaction method for the production of tetrabasic lead sulfate by reacting 4PbO and PbSO4, comprising the steps of: mixing a stoichiometric mixture of 4PbO and PbSO4; heating the stoichiometric mixture of 4PbO and PbSO4 at a temperature between 500 and 700째 C. for 3 to 8 hours; and deagglomerating and sieving resulting tetrabasic lead sulfate. 2.
