초록

A can combustor for an industrial turbine includes a transition piece transitioning directly from a combustor head-end to a turbine inlet using a single piece transition piece. In an exemplary embodiment, the transition piece is jointless.

A can combustor for an industrial turbine comprising: a transition piece transitioning directly from a combustor head-end to a turbine inlet using a single piece transition piece; and a means for supporting the transition piece with a forward sleeve during assembly before a cap is assembled thereto, wherein the means for supporting includes one of protrusions and keys on a forward portion of the forward sleeve that engage holes and keyway slots, respectively, disposed at a compressor casing. 2.
