초록▼
The present invention relates to PTP05 polypeptides and PTP10 polypeptides, nucleic acids encoding such polypeptides, cells, tissues and animals containing such nucleic acids, antibodies to such polypeptides, assays utilizing such polypeptides, and methods relating to all of the foregoing. Methods
Methods for treatment, diagnosis, and screening are provided for PTP05 and/or PTP10 related diseases or conditions characterized by an abnormal interaction between a PTP05 polypeptide and a PTP05 binding partner and/or a PTP10 polypeptide and a PTP10 binding partner.

What is claimed is: 1. An isolated or purified polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having (a) the full length amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ BY NO:5, SEQ ID NO:6, or SEQ ID NO:7; (b) the full length amino acid sequence of the sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:5, SEQ ID NO:6, or SEQ I
What is claimed is: 1. An isolated or purified polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having (a) the full length amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ BY NO:5, SEQ ID NO:6, or SEQ ID NO:7; (b) the full length amino acid sequence of the sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:5, SEQ ID NO:6, or SEQ ID NO:7, except that it lacks one or more of the following segments of amino acid residues: 1-187 and 421-426 of SEQ ID NO:5, 44-80 and 458-463 of SEQ ID NO:6, or 1-87 and 406-412 of SEQ ID NO:7, wherein said polypeptide has tyrosine phosphatase activity; (c) the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:5, SEQ ID NO:6, or SEQ ID NO:7 from amino acid residues 188-420 of SEQ ID NO:5, 225-457 of SEQ ID NO:6, or 188-405 of SEQ ID NO:7, wherein said polypeptide has tyrosine phosphatase activity; or (d) the full length amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:5, SEQ ID NO:6, or SEQ ID NO:7 except that it lacks one or more of the domains selected from the group consisting of an N-terminal domain and C-terminal domain, wherein said polypeptide has tyrosine phosphatase activity. 2. An isolated or purified polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having the full length amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ ID NO:5, SEQ ID NO:6, or SEQ ID NO:7. 3. The isolated or purified polypeptide of claim 2, except that it lacks one or more of the following segments of amino acid residues: 1-187 and 421-426 of SEQ ID NO:5, 44-80 and 458-463 of SEQ-ID NO:6, or 1-87 and 406-412 of SEQ ID NO:7, wherein said polypeptide has tyrosine phosphatase activity. 4. The isolated or purified polypeptide of claim 2, except that it lacks one or more of the domains selected from the group consisting of an N-terminal domain and C-terminal domain, wherein said polypeptide has tyrosine phosphatase activity. 5. An isolated or purified polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having from amino acid residues 188-420 of SEQ ID NO:5, 225-457 of SEQ ID NO:6, or 188-405 of SEQ ID NO:7, wherein said polypeptide has tyrosine phosphatase activity.
