A washout container to which are mounted inclined ramps that allow a transit mixer, concrete pumping truck or other concrete handling vehicle to drive up over a portion of the container for dumping excess concrete and washing out waste concrete. The container cross-section may be rectangular to semi-circular, and is preferably fabricated with a steel structure. A watertight latching door assembly is coupled to the container to prevent leakage of collected liquid concrete waste material while allowing solidified concrete materials to be unloaded at a disposal site. The interior of the container is preferably lined with a material to which concrete will not adhere. The liner may be applied as a coating to the interior of the container or as a solid material retained within the container. In this way, solidified waste concrete can be easily removed from the container at the disposal site and preferably crushed for recycling.

What is claimed is: 1. An apparatus for collecting a volume of hardening concrete washout material from a vehicle for disposal in a substantially hardened condition, comprising: a portable, constructed concrete washout container comprising a constructed housing having a bottom, first and second opposite ends, first and second opposite sides extending between the ends, a substantially open and uncovered top, and a plurality of inner wall surfaces; a door located at the first end and that is adjustable between opened and closed conditions; a volume of concrete washout material located in a substantially hardening condition within the container; a release material applied to at least one of said plurality of inner wall surfaces of said portable, constructed container; wherein said release material comprises a material which is resistant to an adherence of the volume of concrete washout material when hardened into a substantially hardened condition within the portable, constructed container; and wherein the portable, constructed container further comprises a tapered width between the opposite sides relative to the ends such that a width of the container between the sides is greater toward the first end associated with the door than toward the second end. 2. An apparatus as recited in claim 1, wherein said release material comprises at least one of a coating, a solid material, a polymeric material, a flexible liner, and a plastic liner. 3. An apparatus as recited in claim 1, wherein the door comprises a sealed door structure configured to facilitate removal of the volume of concrete washout material from said portable, constructed container when the volume of concrete washout material is in the substantially hardened condition and the door is in the open condition. 4. An apparatus as recited in claim 3, further comprising at least one skid attached to said portable, constructed container and adapted for guiding said container during loading or unloading of said container from a transport vehicle. 5. An apparatus as recited in claim 3, further comprising at least one foldable ramp coupled to said container. 6. An apparatus for collecting a volume of hardening concrete washout material from a vehicle for disposal in a substantially hardened condition, comprising: a portable, constructed concrete washout container comprising a constructed housing having a plurality of inner wall surfaces and a substantially open and uncovered top; a release material applied to at least one of said plurality of inner wall surfaces of said portable, constructed container; a volume of concrete washout material located in a substantially hardening condition within the portable, constructed container; wherein said release material comprises a material which is resistant to an adherence of the volume of concrete washout material when hardened into a substantially hardened condition within the portable, constructed container; a sealed door structure coupled to the constructed housing and configured to facilitate removal of the volume of concrete washout material from said portable, constructed container when hardened in the substantially hardened condition within the portable, constructed container; and a ramp assembly coupled to the portable, constructed concrete washout container and adapted to allow a vehicle to drive onto the ramp and dispose of the volume of hardening concrete washout material into the constructed housing of the portable, constructed concrete washout container through the substantially open and uncovered top and with the disposed volume substantially contained within the portable, constructed container. 7. An apparatus as recited in claim 6, wherein said release material comprises at least one of a coating, a solid material, a polymeric material, a flexible liner, and a plastic liner. 8. An apparatus as recited in claim 6, wherein at least one of said plurality of inner wall surfaces is tapered outward relative to said sealed door structure to facilitate removal of the volume of concrete washout material when hardened into the substantially hardened condition within the portable, constructed container. 9. An apparatus as recited in claim 6, further comprising at least one skid attached to said portable, constructed container and adapted for guiding said portable, constructed container during loading or unloading of said portable, constructed container from a transport vehicle. 10. An apparatus as recited in claim 6, wherein the ramp assembly further comprises at least one foldable ramp coupled to said portable, constructed container. 11. An apparatus for collecting a volume of hardening concrete washout material from a vehicle for disposal in a substantially hardened condition, comprising: a portable, constructed concrete washout container having a plurality of constructed walls, a plurality of inner wall surfaces, and a substantially open and uncovered top; a volume of concrete washout material in a hardening condition located within the container; a release material applied to at least one of said plurality of inner wall surfaces of said container; wherein said release material comprises a material which is resistant to an adherence of the volume of concrete washout material when hardened in a substantially hardened condition within the container; a sealed door structure configured to facilitate removal of the volume of concrete washout material from said container when hardened in the substantially hardened condition within the container; and wherein at least one of said plurality of inner wall surfaces is tapered outward toward said sealed door structure sufficiently to enhance removal of the volume of concrete washout material when hardened in the substantially hardened condition within the container. 12. An apparatus as recited in claim 11, wherein said release material comprises at least one of a coating, a solid material, a polymeric material, a flexible liner, and a plastic liner. 13. An apparatus as recited in claim 11, further comprising at least one skid attached to said portable, constructed container and adapted for guiding said portable, constructed container during loading or unloading of said portable, constructed container from a transport vehicle. 14. An apparatus as recited in claim 11, further comprising at least one foldable ramp coupled to said portable, constructed container.
