A juice extractor comprising: an extractor frame; at least one pair of extractor cups, wherein one of the extractor cups is movable into the other extractor cup within said extractor frame for compressing fruit therebetween; a single camshaft mounted for rotation within said extractor frame; a drive mechanism connected to said camshaft for rotating said camshaft; at least one drive cam mounted on said camshaft and operatively engaging the movable extractor cup for driving the movable extractor cup into engagement with the respective other extractor cup during extractor operation; two return cams mounted on said camshaft and separated from said drive cam, the two return cams operatively engaging the movable extractor cup for returning the movable extractor cup from engagement with the other extractor cup; and a counterweight is positioned between the two return cams, the counterweight is operatively engaged with the camshaft and providing balance to the juice extractor during extractor operation. 2. A juice extractor according to claim 1, and further comprising a drive gear mounted to said camshaft, said drive mechanism connected to said drive gear, wherein a counterweight is mounted on said drive gear. 3. A juice extractor according to claim 2, and further comprising a gearbox in which said drive gear is mounted. 4. A juice extractor according to claim 1, wherein said counterweight is mounted directly on said camshaft. 5. A juice extractor according to claim 4, wherein said counterweight comprises a plurality of counterweight members mounted on said camshaft. 6. A juice extractor according to claim 1, wherein the other extractor cup is fixed relative to said extractor frame and receives the movable extractor cup driven by said drive cam in vertical, reciprocating motion. 7. A juice extractor according to claim 1, and further comprising a strainer tube mounted to receive juice and pulp of fruit, an orifice tube movable within the strainer tube, said drive mechanism engaging the orifice tube for reciprocating the orifice tube within the strainer tube, said drive mechanism including an orifice tube drive cam mounted on said camshaft. 8. A juice extractor according to claim 1, and further comprising a plurality of pairs of extractor cups, and a cup support member supporting the extractor cups to be driven by said drive cam. 9. A juice extractor comprising: an extractor frame; a plurality of extractor cups fixed within said extractor frame; a cup support member mounted for reciprocating movement within said extractor frame; a plurality of extractor cups supported by said cup support member; a single camshaft mounted for rotation within said extractor frame; a drive mechanism connected to said camshaft for rotating said camshaft; at least one drive cam mounted on said camshaft and engaging said cup support member for reciprocating the cup support member and driving the extractor cups supported thereon into engagement with the respective fixed extractor cups during extractor operation; two return cams mounted on said camshaft and separated from said drive cam, the two return cams operatively engaging said cup support member for returning said extractor cups mounted thereon from engagement with said fixed extractor cups; and a counterweight is positioned between the two return cams, the counterweight is operatively is positioned between the two return cams, the counterweight is connected to the camshaft and providing balance to the juice extractor during extractor operation. 10. A juice extractor according to claim 9, and further comprising a cup bridge that supports the fixed extractor cups. 11. A juice extractor according to claim 10, and further comprising a juice manifold that is integrated with said cup bridge. 12. A juice extractor according to claim 9, wherein said extractor cups are arranged in opposed, vertical relationship. 13. A juice extractor according to claim 9, and further comprising a drive gear mounted to said camshaft, said drive mechanism connected to said drive gear, wherein a counterweight is mounted on said drive gear. 14. A juice extractor according to claim 13, and further comprising a gearbox in which said drive gear is mounted. 15. A juice extractor according to claim 9, wherein said counterweight is mounted directly on said camshaft. 16. A juice extractor according to claim 15, wherein said counterweight comprises a plurality of counterweight members mounted on said camshaft. 17. A juice extractor according to claim 9, and further comprising a strainer tube mounted to receive juice and pulp of fruit, an orifice tube movable within the strainer tube, said drive mechanism engaging the orifice tube for reciprocating the orifice tube within the strainer tube, said drive mechanism including an orifice tube drive cam mounted on said camshaft and a drive linkage operatively engaging the orifice tube and orifice tube drive cam. 18. A method for forming a juice extractor the juice extractor comprising a drive mechanism that includes a single cam shaft supporting a drive cam that operatively engages at least one moveable extractor cup for driving the extractor cup into engagement with a fixed extractor cup and compressing fruit therebetween as the camshaft rotates, the juice extractor further comprises two return cams mounted on the camshaft and separated from the drive cam, the two return cams operatively engaging the movable extractor cup for returning the movable extractor cup from engagement with the fixed extractor cup, the method comprising: mounting a counterweight on the camshaft and positioning the counterweight between the two return cams to provide balance to the juice extractor during extractor operation. 19. A method according to claim 18, which further comprises mounting the counterweight directly on the camshaft. 20. A method according to claim 19, wherein the counterweight comprises a plurality of counterweight members on the camshaft. 21. A method according to claim 18, which further comprises mounting a counterweight on a drive gear operatively connected to said camshaft. 22. A method according to claim 21, wherein said drive gear supported at the end of the camshaft. 23. A method according to claim 21, which further comprises mounting the counterweight within a gearbox in which the drive gear is positioned.
