A method of concurrently providing a series of types of training pants to consumers, comprising: providing a first sub-series of disposable pant-like garments, wherein the first sub-series includes a first garment type in at least two different sizes designed to fit wearers in at least two different size ranges, the first garment type having a first level of absorbency for a first garment size and a first level of absorbency for a second garment size, wherein the second garment size is larger than the first garment size; and providing a second sub-series of disposable pant-like garments, wherein the second sub-series includes a second garment type in at least two different sizes, namely a third garment size and a fourth garment size that is larger than the third garment size, each of the third and fourth garment sizes overlapping, at least in part, the size ranges of at least one of the first and second garment sizes in the first sub-series; each of the garments of the second sub-series having a second level of absorbency for the third garment size and a second level of absorbency for the fourth garment size, wherein the second level of absorbency is lower than the first level of absorbency for a garment in the first sub-series overlapping at least a portion of the same size range; and each of the garments in the first sub-series is adapted for a first stage of toilet training, and each of the garments in the second sub-series is adapted for a second stage of toilet training subsequent to the first stage. 2. The method of claim 1, further comprising conveying information to a consumer that provides guidance to the consumer in selecting an appropriate type of garment from the series for a child in a stage of toilet training. 3. The method of claim 1, wherein the series includes at least one unisex pant-like garment, and at least one gender-specific pant-like garment. 4. The method of claim 3, wherein the gender-specific pant-like garment is the second type of garment. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the series includes at least one garment type having a first wetness indicator, and at least one garment type having a second wetness indicator of a different type than the first wetness indicator. 6. The method of claim 1, wherein the series includes at least one garment type having a tactile wetness indicator, and at least one garment type having a visual wetness indicator. 7. The method of claim 6, wherein the first type of garment includes a visual wetness indicator, and the second type of garment includes a tactile wetness indicator. 8. The method of claim 1, wherein the first sub-series includes the first garment type in at least three different sizes. 9. The method of claim 1, wherein the first level of absorbency for the first garment size is the same as the first level of absorbency for the second garment size, and the second level of absorbency for the third garment size is the same as the second level of absorbency for the fourth garment size. 10. The method of claim 1, wherein the first level of absorbency for the first garment size is different than the first level of absorbency for the second garment size, and the second level of absorbency for the third garment size is different than the second level of absorbency for the fourth garment size. 11. A method of concurrently providing a series of types of training pants to consumers, comprising: providing a first sub-series of disposable pant-like garments, wherein the first sub-series includes a first garment type in at least two different sizes designed to fit wearers in at least two different weight ranges, the first garment type having a first absorbent capacity for a first garment size and a first absorbent capacity for a second garment size, wherein the second garment size is larger than the first garment size; and providing a second sub-series of disposable pant-like garments, wherein the second sub-series includes a second garment type in at least two different sizes, namely a third garment size and a fourth garment size that is larger than the third garment size, each of the third and fourth garment sizes overlapping, at least in part, the weight ranges of at least one of the first and second garment sizes in the first sub-series; each of the garments of the second sub-series having a second absorbent capacity for the third garment size and a second absorbent capacity for the fourth garment size, wherein the second absorbent capacity is lower than the first absorbent capacity for a garment in the first sub-series overlapping at least a portion of the same weight range, and each of the garments in the first sub-series is adapted for a first stage of toilet training, and each of the garments in the second sub-series is adapted for a second stage of toilet training subsequent to the first stage. 12. The method of claim 11, further comprising conveying information to a consumer that provides guidance to the consumer in selecting an appropriate type of garment from the series for a child in a stage of toilet training. 13. The method of claim 11, wherein the series includes at least one unisex pant-like garment, and at least one gender-specific pant-like garment. 14. The method of claim 13, wherein the gender-specific pant-like garment is the second garment type. 15. The method of claim 11, wherein the series includes at least one garment type having a first wetness indicator, and at least one garment type having a second wetness indicator of a different type than the first wetness indicator. 16. The method of claim 11, wherein the series includes at least one garment type having a tactile wetness indicator, and at least one garment type having a visual wetness indicator. 17. The method of claim 16, wherein the first garment type includes a visual wetness indicator, and the second garment type includes a tactile wetness indicator. 18. The method of claim 11, wherein the first sub-series includes the first garment type in at least three different sizes. 19. The method of claim 11, wherein the first absorbent capacity for the first garment size is the same as the first absorbent capacity for the second garment size, and the second absorbent capacity for the third garment size is the same as the second absorbent capacity for the fourth garment size. 20. The method of claim 11, wherein the first absorbent capacity for the first garment size is different than the first absorbent capacity for the second garment size, and the second absorbent capacity for the third garment size is different than the second absorbent capacity for the fourth garment size. 21. A method of concurrently providing a series of types of training pants to consumers, comprising: providing a first sub-series of disposable pant-like garments, wherein the first sub-series includes a first garment type in at least a first size and a second size designed to fit wearers in at least a first size range and a second size range, respectively, the first garment type having a first level of absorbency for the first garment size and a first level of absorbency for the second garment size, wherein the second garment size is larger than the first garment size; and providing a second sub-series of disposable pant-like garments, wherein the second sub-series includes a second garment type in at least a third size and a fourth size that is larger than the third size, with the third and fourth sizes each overlapping, at least in part, at least one of the size ranges of the garments in the first sub-series; each of the garments of the second sub-series having a second level of absorbency for the third garment size and a second level of absorbency for the fourth garment size, wherein the second level of absorbency is lower than the first level of absorbency for a garment in the first sub-series overlapping at least a portion of the same size range; and each of the garments in the first sub-series is adapted for a first stage of toilet training, and each of the garments in the second sub-series is adapted for a second stage of toilet training subsequent to the first stage. 22. The method of claim 21, wherein the series includes a first garment type and a second garment type each having substantially the same size, the first garment type having an absorbent capacity of greater than about 400 grams and the second garment type having an absorbent capacity of less than about 300 grams. 23. The method of claim 21, wherein the series includes at least one garment having a refastenable fastening system for attaching a front portion of the garment to a back portion of the garment, and at least one garment having a pair of permanently bonded side seams for attaching a front portion of the garment to a back portion of the garment. 24. The method of claim 21, wherein the series includes at least one unisex pant-like garment, and at least one gender-specific pant-like garment. 25. The method of claim 21, wherein the series includes at least one garment type having a first wetness indicator, and at least one garment type having a second wetness indicator of a different type than the first wetness indicator. 26. The method of claim 21, wherein the series includes at least one garment type having a tactile wetness indicator, and at least one garment type having a visual wetness indicator. 27. The method of claim 21, wherein the first sub-series includes the first garment type in at least three different sizes. 28. The method of claim 21, wherein the first level of absorbency for the first garment size is the same as the first level of absorbency for the second garment size, and the second level of absorbency for the third garment size is the same as the second level of absorbency for the fourth garment size. 29. The method of claim 21, wherein the first level of absorbency for the first garment size is different than the first level of absorbency for the second garment size, and the second level of absorbency for the third garment size is different than the second level of absorbency for the fourth garment size. 30. A method of providing a series of types of training pants to consumers, comprising: providing a first series of disposable pant-like garments, wherein the first series includes at least three garments designed to fit wearers of different sizes, the garments of the first series having a first level of absorbency for a first garment size, a first level of absorbency for a second garment size, and a first level of absorbency for a third garment size, wherein the third garment size is larger than the second garment size, and the second garment size is larger than the first garment size; and providing a second series of disposable pant-like garments, wherein the second series includes at least two garments in at least two different sizes, namely a fourth size and a fifth size, wherein the fifth size is larger than the fourth size, each of the garments in the second series overlapping in size, at least in part, the size range of at least one of the garments in the first series; each of the garments of the second series having a second level of absorbency for the fourth garment size and a second level of absorbency for the fifth garment size, wherein the second level of absorbency is lower than the first level of absorbency for a garment in the first series overlapping at least a portion of the same size range. 31. The method of claim 30, wherein the garments in one of the series include a first wetness indicator, and the garments in another one of the series include a second wetness indicator of a different type than the first wetness indicator. 32. The method of claim 30, wherein the garments in one of the series include a tactile wetness indicator, and the garments in another one of the series include a visual wetness indicator. 33. The method of claim 30, wherein the first level of absorbency for the first garment size is the same as the first level of absorbency for the second garment size and the first level of absorbency for the third garment size, and the second level of absorbency for the fourth garment size is the same as the second level of absorbency for the fifth garment size. 34. The method of claim 30, wherein the first level of absorbency for the first garment size is different than the first level of absorbency for the second garment size and the first level of absorbency for the third garment size, and the second level of absorbency for the fourth garment size is different than the second level of absorbency for the fifth garment size.
