The present invention is directed to a system and method for providing complete electronic commerce ("E-Commerce") transactions and solutions for a marketing company's products via the World Wide Web, including facilities for signing up new customers and recruiting, training and supporting new Independent Business Owners through an interactive online process. In another aspect, the present invention relates to the combination of a marketing business with a membership buying opportunity using both electronic commerce and face-to-face transactions. The present invention is also directed to a system and method for combining a marketing business with a membership buying opportunity, so that Independent Business Owners participating in the marketing plan can introduce customers to a membership buying opportunity and earn bonuses or commissions based on the purchases by those members, while Members in the buying opportunity can consume products or, at their option, qualify to become Independent Business Owners.

A method for facilitating electronic commerce transactions in a marketing system through a network, the network comprising at least one server computer capable of communicating with a browser system located at a remote client computer, said method comprising: establishing an interactive online registration process between the client browser system and the server computer so that a user may register with an electronic commerce system as a First Participation Category, a Second Participation Category or a Third Participation Category wherein a First Participation Category is not eligible to earn compensation and is eligible to buy products or services at a First Participation Category price, wherein a Second Participation Category is not eligible to earn compensation and is eligible to buy products or services at a Second Participation Category price, and wherein a Third Participation Category is eligible to buy products or services at a Third Participation Category price and is eligible to earn compensation; providing a plurality of web files operatively coupled to a web site associated with the electronic commerce system; allowing access to a plurality of electronic commerce system products or services to the registered First Participation Category, Second Participation Category, or Third Participation Category via at least one of the plurality of web files; receiving a first order by said electronic commerce system via said network, the first order being received from said registered user via said browser system, the first order comprising a request to purchase, and have provided to the registered user, one or more of a said plurality of electronic commerce system products or services; generating a first profile, said first profile comprising said first order and specifying a recurrence for said first order; providing said one or more of said plurality of electronic commerce system products or services to said registered user according to said first profile; and causing said first order to automatically recur one or more times according to said specification. 2. The method of claim 1 wherein said web files are operatively coupled to a web site associated with said electronic commerce system. 3. The method of claim 1 wherein said electronic commerce system comprises a marketing system. 4. The method of claim 1 wherein said electronic commerce system comprises a multi-level marketing system. 5. The method of claim 1, wherein said first profile further specifies a first recurrence interval upon elapse of which said first order is to recur. 6. The method of claim 5, wherein said first profile further specifies the regularity of said first recurrence interval. 7. The method of claim 5, further comprising: generating multiple standing orders, the multiple standing orders including the first order. 8. The method of claim 1, further comprising: allowing said registered user to modify said first profile. 9. The method of claim 8, wherein said allowing further comprises allowing said registered user to add one or more of said plurality of electronic commerce system products or services to said first order. 10. The method of claim 8, wherein said allowing further comprises allowing said registered user to remove one or more of said plurality of electronic commerce system products or services from said first order. 11. The method of claim 8, wherein said allowing further comprises allowing said registered user to modify said recurrence. 12. The method of claim 1, wherein said receiving further comprises receiving said first order for products or services into a shopping cart and further wherein said generating further comprises generating said first profile from said shopping cart in response to selection of a link associated with the shopping cart. 13. The method of claim 1, wherein said first order for products or services may be specified in eaches or bulk. 14. The method of claim 1, wherein said first order for products or services may be specified in eaches or cases. 15. The method of claim 1, wherein said first order for products or services may be specified in unit quantities or lot quantities. 16. An electronic commerce system comprising: at least one server computer capable of communicating with a browser system located at a remote client computer over a network; said at least one server computer comprising: a user registration system for registering a user with the electronic commerce system as a First Participation Category, a Second Participation Category, or a Third Participation Category, wherein a First Participation Category is not eligible to earn compensation and is eligible to buy products or services at a First Participation Category price, wherein a Second Participation Category is not eligible to earn compensation and is eligible to buy products or services at a Second Participation Category price, and wherein a Third Participation Category is eligible to buy products or services at a Third Participation Category price and is eligible to earn compensation; an order management system operative to receive a first order from said registered user for one or more of a plurality of electronic commerce system products or services corresponding to web files; said order management system further operative to generate a first profile comprising said first order and specifying a recurrence for said first order; said order management system being further operative to initiate shipment of said one or more of a plurality of electronic commerce system products or services to said registered user according to said first profile; and said order management system being responsive to said first profile and causing said first order to automatically recur one or more times according to said specification. 17. The electronic commerce system of claim 16 wherein said order management system comprises a mainframe computer. 18. The electronic commerce system of claim 16 wherein said web files are operatively coupled to a web site associated with said electronic commerce system. 19. The electronic commerce system of claim 16, wherein said electronic commerce system comprises a marketing system. 20. The electronic commerce system of claim 16, wherein said electronic commerce system comprises a multi-level marketing system. 21. The electronic commerce system of claim 16, wherein said first profile further specifies a first recurrence interval upon elapse of which said first order is to recur. 22. The electronic commerce system of claim 21, wherein said first profile further specifies the regularity of said first recurrence interval. 23. The electronic commerce system of claim 21, wherein said order management system is further operative to: generating multiple standing orders, the multiple standing orders including the first order. 24. The electronic commerce system of claim 16, wherein said order management system is further operative to allow said registered user to modify said first profile. 25. The electronic commerce system of claim 24, wherein said order management system is further operative to allow said registered user to add one or more of said plurality of electronic commerce system products or services to said first order. 26. The electronic commerce system of claim 24, wherein said order management system is further operative to allow said registered user to remove one or more of said plurality of electronic commerce system products or services from said first order. 27. The electronic commerce system of claim 24, wherein said order management system is further operative to allow said registered user to modify said recurrence. 28. The electronic commerce system of claim 16, wherein said order management system is further operative to receive said first order for products or services into a shopping cart and generate said first profile from said shopping cart in response to selection of a link associated with the shopping cart. 29. The electronic commerce system of claim 16, wherein said first order for products or services may be specified in eaches or bulk. 30. The electronic commerce system of claim 16, wherein said first order for products or services may be specified in eaches or cases. 31. The electronic commerce system of claim 16, wherein said first order for products or services may be specified in unit quantities or lot quantities. 32. A method for facilitating electronic commerce through a network, the method comprising: (a) receiving, by at least one server computer coupled with the network, a first order via the network from a user via a browser system located at a remote client computer, the user registered with an electronic commerce system as a First Participation Category a Second Participation Category, or a Third Participation Category, wherein a First Participation Category is not eligible to earn compensation and is eligible to buy products or services at a First Participation Category price, wherein a Second Participation Category is not eligible to earn compensation and is eligible to buy products or services at a Second Participation Category price, and wherein a Third Participation Category is eligible to buy products or services at an IBO price and is eligible to earn compensation; (b) establishing an automated order in response to the receiving; and (c) repetitively sending a product or providing a service to the user in response to (b). 33. The method of claim 32 wherein (b) comprises creating a standing order profile. 34. The method of claim 32 further comprising: wherein the first order comprises an order for one or more of a plurality of products or services corresponding to web files. 35. In a method for facilitating electronic ordering of a product or service in response to a user selection through a network, said network comprising at least one server computer capable of communicating with a browser system located at a remote client computer, an improvement comprising: establishing an interactive online registration process between the client browser system and the server computer so that a user may register with an electronic commerce system as a First Participation Category, a Second Participation Category or a Third Participation Category, wherein a First Participation Category is not eligible to earn compensation and is eligible to buy products or services at a First Participation Category price, wherein a Second Participation Category is not eligible to earn compensation and is eligible to buy products or services at a Second Participation Category price, and wherein a Third Participation Category is eligible to buy products or services at a Third Participation Category price and is eligible to earn compensation; establishing a standing order in response to the selection of the product or service by the user; and causing the shipment of the product or service to the user two or more times in accordance with the standing order. 36. The improvement of claim 35 wherein a standing order link is provided in response to the selection of the product or service and the standing order is established in response to selection of the standing order link. 37. A method for facilitating electronic commerce in an electronic commerce system through a network, said network comprising at least one server computer capable of communication with a browser system located at a remote client computer, said method comprising: (a) receiving a standing order process selection from a user, the user registered with an electronic commerce system as a First Participation Category, a Second Participation Category or a Third Participation Category, wherein a First Participation Category is not eligible to earn compensation and is eligible to buy products or services at a First Participation Category price, wherein a Second Participation Category is not eligible to earn compensation and is eligible to buy products or services at a Second Participation Category price, and wherein a Third Participation Category is eligible to buy products or services at a Third Participation Category price and is eligible to earn compensation; (b) providing standing order profile information, the standing order profile information operable to allow the user to set up an automated order system that sends products and/or services to the user at regular intervals, the standing order profile information provided in response to (a); and (c) establishing long-term orders of the products and/or services as a function of the regular intervals. 38. The method of claim 37 further comprising: (d) providing a shopping basket page with a link to the standing order process selection, wherein (a) occurs in response to selection of the link; and (e) placing any items in the shopping basket page in the standing order profile information prior to (b); and (f) receiving removal information, if any, for removing one or more of the items from the standing order profile. 39. The method of claim 37 further comprising repeating (a), (b) and (c) for multiple standing orders associated with a same user.
