What is claimed is: 1. A solid calcium hypochlorite composition comprising a mixture of: solid calcium hypochlorite; about 0.1 to about 4.5 wt % of sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP); and about 0.1 to about 4.5 wt % of sodium hexametaphosphate (SHMP), said weight percents being based on the total weight of said composition. 2. The solid calcium hypochlorite composition of claim 1 wherein the mixture is a homogenous mixture. 3. The solid calcium hypochlorite composition of claim 1, wherein both STPP and SHMP are each present in an amount of from 0.2% to 1.0% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition. 4. The solid calcium hypochlorite composition of claim 3, wherein said STPP and said SHMP are each present in an amount of 0.5% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition. 5. A solid shaped article comprising a mixture of: solid calcium hypochlorite; about 0.1 to about 4.5 wt % of sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP); and about 0.1 to about 4.5 wt % of sodium hexametaphosphate (SHMP), said weight percents being based on the total weight of said composition. 6. The solid shaped article of claim 5, wherein the three components are present in distinct layers. 7. The solid shaped article of claim 5, wherein said mixture is a homogenous mixture. 8. The solid shaped article of claim 5, wherein said article is in the form of a tablet. 9. The solid shaped article of claim 5, wherein said article is in the form of granules. 10. The solid shaped article of claim 5, wherein said article is in the form of a briquette. 11. The solid shaped article of claim 5, wherein said article is in the form of pellets. 12. The solid shaped article of claim 5 wherein said STPP and said SHMP are each present in an amount from 0.2% to 1.0% by weight, based on the total weight of the mixture. 13. The solid shaped article of claim 12, wherein said STPP and the SHMP are each present in an amount of 0.5% by weight, based on the total weight of the mixture.
