The method can include: providing a housing that defines a housing cavity with a rod aperture; mounting a plurality of seals to a cylinder sleeve; inserting the cylinder sleeve into the housing cavity; inserting a piston assembly to the cylinder sleeve, the piston assembly including a driver that extends into the rod aperture; coupling a cap assembly to the housing to enclose an end of the housing cavity opposite the rod aperture, the cap assembly including an exhaust outlet; biasing the cylinder sleeve toward the cap assembly to inhibit fluid communication between the housing cavity and the exhaust outlet and permit fluid communication between an interior of the cylinder sleeve and the exhaust outlet; and translating the cylinder sleeve away from the cap assembly to permit fluid communication between the housing cavity and the interior of the cylinder sleeve and inhibit fluid communication between the interior of the cylinder sleeve and the exhaust outlet.

What is claimed is: 1. A method comprising: providing a housing that defines a housing cavity with a rod aperture; coupling a valve assembly to the housing; inserting a guide assembly into the housing cavity, the guide assembly being sealingly engaged to the housing and defining a flange bore; inserting a cylinder sleeve to the guide assembly such that a periphery of the cylinder sleeve sealingly engages the guide assembly at a first seal position and a second seal position, the first seal position being associated with a flange that is received into the flange bore; inserting a piston assembly to the cylinder sleeve, the piston assembly including a driver that extends into the rod aperture; coupling a cap assembly to the housing to enclose an end of the housing cavity opposite the rod aperture, the cap assembly including an exhaust outlet; operating the valve assembly to supply a pressurized gas between the first and second seal positions to drive the cylinder sleeve toward the cap assembly to fluidly couple the exhaust outlet and an interior portion of the cylinder sleeve; and initiating movement of the piston toward the rod apertures by operating the valve assembly to support the pressurized gas to the housing cavity, the pressurized gas in the housing cavity acting on the flange to drive the cylinder sleeve away from the cap assembly to fluidly uncouple the exhaust outlet from the interior portion of the cylinder sleeve and fluidly couple the interior portion of the cylinder sleeve with the housing cavity. 2. The method of claim 1, further comprising sealing the cylinder sleeve to the cap assembly when the interior portion of the cylinder sleeve is fluidly coupled to the exhaust outlet. 3. The method of claim 2, further comprising mounting at least one seal to at least one of the cap assembly and the cylinder sleeve. 4. The method of claim 2 wherein the at least one seal translates between a first position and a second position. 5. The method of claim 4, wherein the at least one seal is mounted on the cylinder sleeve. 6. The method of claim 1, wherein the first seal position is radially offset from the second seal position. 7. The method of claim 1, further comprising biasing the cylinder sleeve toward the cap assembly. 8. The method of claim 7, wherein a spring is disposed between the cylinder sleeve and the housing. 9. The method of claim 1, wherein the guide assembly is sealingly engaged to the housing at third and fourth seal positions. 10. The method of claim 9, wherein a fluid conduit is formed through the guide assembly. 11. The method of claim 10, wherein the fluid conduit extends from a first point, which is located between the third and fourth seal positions, and a second point that is located between the first and second seal positions. 12. The method of claim 1, wherein the piston assembly is translated away from the cap assembly when the exhaust outlet is fluidly uncoupled from the interior portion of the cylinder sleeve and the interior potion of the housing is fluidly coupled to the housing cavity. 13. A method comprising: providing a tool with a housing, a cylinder sleeve, a seal, a piston assembly and a cap assembly, the housing defining a housing cavity with a rod aperture, cylinder sleeve being received into the housing cavity, the piston assembly being received in the cylinder sleeve and including a driver that extends into the rod aperture, the cap assembly being coupled to the housing to close an end of the housing cavity opposite the rod aperture, the cap assembly including an exhaust outlet and an exhaust manifold with a plurality of exhaust apertures, the seal being mounted to the cylinder sleeve and engaging the exhaust manifold; biasing the cylinder sleeve toward the cap assembly into a first position with a spring to position the seal on the cylinder sleeve at a position on the exhaust manifold that permits fluid communication between the interior of the cylinder sleeve and the exhaust outlet and to inhibit fluid communication between the interior of the cylinder sleeve and the housing cavity; and translating the cylinder sleeve away from the cap assembly into a second position to position the seal on the cylinder sleeve at another position on the exhaust manifold that inhibits fluid communication between the interior of the cylinder sleeve and the exhaust outlet and to permit fluid communication between the housing cavity and the interior of the cylinder sleeve. 14. The method of claim 13, wherein the cylinder sleeve includes a radially extending flange and wherein translating the cylinder sleeve away from the cap assembly includes directing a compressed gas into the housing cavity to exert a force on the radially extending flange that is greater than a biasing force exerted by the spring. 15. The method of claim 14, further comprising translating the piston assembly away from the cap assembly.
