The invention claimed is: 1. A chair comprising a frame, a seat support plate supported on the frame, the seat support plate including a first arcuate guide and a second arcuate guide, the first arcuate guide centered on a first axis and the second arcuate guide being centered on a second axis, the second axis spaced apart from the first axis, a back support plate including a first roller engaging the first arcuate guide and a second roller engaging the second arcuate guide, a motion control member pivotably coupled to the seat support plate at a first connection point and pivotably coupled to the back support plate at a second connection point, the motion control member actuating between an extended position wherein the back support plate is positioned to place the chair in a sitting position and a retracted position wherein the back support plate is positioned to place the chair in a reclining position. 2. The chair of claim 1 further comprising a seat section supported on the seat frame, where retraction of the motion control member results in exposing a portion of the seat section thereby increasing an area of the seat section available to support a person when the chair is in a reclined position. 3. The chair of claim 1 wherein the motion control member is an linear actuator. 4. The chair of claim 1, further comprising a seat supported on the seat support frame, and a plurality of air cells dispersed within the seat. 5. The chair of claim 4, wherein the plurality of air cells are independently and sequentially rapidly inflated and deflated to massage. 6. The chair of claim 4, further comprising a pin coupled to the back support plate and extending outwardly therefrom, a link pivotably coupled to the back support plate, the link including an arcuate guide configured to engage the pin such that the link is pivotable between a first position in which the pin engages a first end of the guide to support the link in the first position and second position wherein the pin engages the second end of the guide to support the link in the second position, and an armrest pivotably coupled to the link, the armrest maintaining a substantially constant horizontal relationship as the back support articulates between a sitting-up position and a reclined position when the link is in the first position, wherein the armrest is movable relative to the backrest between the substantially constant horizontal relationship to an out-of-the-way position when the link is in the second position. 7. A lift chair comprising, a rear seat frame including a first arcuate guide and a second arcuate guide, the first arcuate guide centered on a first axis and the second arcuate guide being centered on a second axis, a support frame, a drive link coupled to the support frame and pivotably coupled to the rear seat frame, a front seat frame pivotably coupled to the support frame and the rear seat frame to control motion of the rear seat frame as the drive link articulates such that the rear seat frame articulates upwardly and forwardly, a back support plate including a first roller engaging the first arcuate guide and a second roller engaging the second arcuate guide, and a motion control member pivotably coupled to the rear seat frame at a first connection point and pivotably coupled to the back support plate at a second connection point, the motion control member actuating between an extended position wherein the back support plate is positioned to place the chair in a sitting position and a retracted position wherein the back support plate is positioned to place the chair in a reclining position. 8. The chair of claim 7, further comprising a linear actuator to drive the drive link. 9. The chair of claim 7, wherein a surface of the front seat frame is rotated between generally upward facing orientation and a generally forward facing orientation during articulation of the drive link. 10. The chair of claim 9, further comprising a linkage pivotably coupled to the back support plate, and an armrest pivotably coupled to the linkage, the armrest maintaining a substantially constant horizontal relationship as the back support articulates between a sitting-up position and a reclined position. 11. The chair of claim 10, wherein the armrest is pivotable between a use position and an out-of-the-way position. 12. The chair of claim 7, further comprising a seat supported on the seat support frame, and a plurality of air cells dispersed within the seat. 13. The chair of claim 12, wherein the plurality of air cells are independently and sequentially rapidly inflated and deflated to massage. 14. The chair of claim 7, further comprising a base frame supporting the support frame on a pivot, a motion control device coupled to the base frame and the support frame, the motion control device changing length to articulate the support frame between a base position and a tilt position. 15. The chair of claim 14, wherein the motion control device is a linear actuator. 16. The chair of claim 15, further comprising a linkage pivotably coupled to the back support plate, and an armrest pivotably coupled to the linkage, the armrest maintaining a substantially constant horizontal relationship as the back support articulates between a sitting-up position and a reclined position. 17. A chair comprising a frame, a seat support plate supported on the frame, the seat support plate including a first arcuate guide and a second arcuate guide, the first arcuate guide centered on a first axis and the second arcuate guide being centered on a second axis, wherein the first arcuate guide is located vertically above the second arcuate guide, the first arcuate guide having a constant radius of curvature and the second arcuate guide having elliptical curvature, a back support plate including a first roller engaging the first arcuate guide and a second roller engaging the second arcuate guide, a motion control member pivotably coupled to the seat support plate at a first connection point and pivotably coupled to the back support plate at a second connection point, the motion control member actuating between an extended position wherein the back support plate is positioned to place the chair in a sitting position and a retracted position wherein the back support plate is positioned to place the chair in a reclining position. 18. The chair of claim 17, further comprising a seat section supported on the seat frame, where retraction of the motion control member results in exposing a portion of the seat section thereby increasing an area of the seat section available to support a person when the chair is in a reclined position. 19. The chair of claim 17, wherein the motion control member is an linear actuator. 20. The chair of claim 17, further comprising a seat supported on the seat support frame, and a plurality of air cells dispersed within the seat. 21. The chair of claim 20, wherein the plurality of air cells are independently and sequentially rapidly inflated and deflated to massage. 22. The chair of claim 17, further comprising a pin coupled to the back support plate and extending outwardly therefrom, a link pivotably coupled to the back support plate, the link including an arcuate guide configured to engage the pin such that the link is pivotable between a first position in which the pin engages a first end of the guide to support the link in the first position and second position wherein the pin engages the second end of the guide to support the link in the second position, and an armrest pivotably coupled to the link, the armrest maintaining a substantially constant horizontal relationship as the back support articulates between a sitting-up position and a reclined position when the link is in the first position, wherein the armrest is movable relative to the backrest between the substantially constant horizontal relationship to an out-of-the-way position when the link is in the second position.
