A support for mounting a bicycle rack on a frame, particularly an A-frame of a trailer tongue, has a cross-piece having a length to span spaced-apart frame elements of the frame. The cross-piece forms angles with the frame elements. Mounting brackets are secured to the cross-piece at an angle congruent to the angle formed between the cross-piece and the frame elements and are used to mount the support on the frame elements.
