The electrode of the first photovoltaic cell can overlap the electrode of the second photovoltaic cell. The interconnect can electrically connect the electrode of the first photovoltaic cell and the electrode of the second photovoltaic cell. The interconnect can mechanically couple the first and second photovoltaic cells.

A module, comprising: a first photovoltaic cell comprising an electrode with a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a third surface that connects the first and second surfaces, the first, second and third surfaces defining an end of the electrode of

What is claimed is: 1. A module, comprising: a first photovoltaic cell comprising an electrode with a first surface, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a third surface that connects the first and second surfaces, the first, second and third surfaces defining an end of the electrode of the first photovoltaic cell; a second photovoltaic cell comprising an electrode with a surface; and a conductive tape that connects the first and second photovoltaic cells, the conductive tape being in direct contact with the first, second and third surfaces of the electrode of the first photovoltaic cell, and the conductive tape being supported by the surface of the electrode of the second photovoltaic cell, wherein the conductive tape is not disposed in the electrode of the first photovoltaic cell, the conductive tape is wrapped around the end of the electrode of the first photovoltaic cell so that a portion of the electrode of the first photovoltaic cell is disposed between the first and second surfaces of the electrode of the first photovoltaic cell. 2. The module of claim 1, wherein the conductive tape is disposed on the first surface of the electrode of the first photovoltaic cell. 3. The module of claim 2, wherein the conductive tape is disposed on the second surface of the electrode of the first photovoltaic cell. 4. The module of claim 1, wherein the conductive tape electrically connects the first and second photovoltaic cells. 5. The module of claim 1, wherein the conductive tape mechanically connects the first and second photovoltaic cells. 6. The module of claim 1, wherein the first photovoltaic cell comprises a first polymer and a first fullerene. 7. The module of claim 6, wherein the second photovoltaic cell comprises a second polymer and a second fullerene. 8. The module of claim 7, wherein the first and second polymers are the same. 9. The module of claim 8, wherein the first and second fullerenes are the same. 10. The module of claim 7, wherein the first and second fullerenes are the same. 11. The module of claim 3, wherein the conductive tape is disposed on the surface of the electrode of the second photovoltaic cell. 12. The module of claim 1, wherein the conductive tape is not disposed in the electrode of the second photovoltaic cell.
