A respiratory dispersion for the pulmonary delivery of at least two bioactive agents, the dispersion comprising a propellant suspension medium having dispersed therein a plurality of perforated microstructures, wherein the two bioactive agents are incorporated into individual perforated microstructures. 2. A respiratory dispersion of claim 1 wherein at least one of the bioactive agents is a bronchodilator. 3. A respiratory dispersion of claim 2 wherein the bronchodilator comprises one or more bronchodilators selected from the group consisting of ephedrine, adrenaline, fenoterol, formoterol, isoprenaline, metaproterenol, salbutamol, albuterol, salmeterol, and terbutaline. 4. A respiratory dispersion of claim 2 wherein at least one of the bioactive agents is an anti-inflammatory agent. 5. A respiratory dispersion of claim 4 wherein the anti-inflammatory agent comprises an anti-inflammatory steroid. 6. A respiratory dispersion of claim 4 wherein the anti-inflammatory agent comprises one or more anti-inflammatory agents selected from the group consisting of fluticasone, beclomethasone, flunisolide, budesonide, tripedane, cortisone, prednisone, prednisolone, dexamethoasone, betamethasone or triamcinalone. 7. A respiratory dispersion of claim 2 wherein at least one of the bioactive agents is an anti-infective agent. 8. A respiratory dispersion of claim 7 wherein the anti-infective agent comprises one or more anti-infective agents selected from the group consisting of a cephalosporin, a macrolide, a quinoline, penicillin, streptomycin, sulphonamide, tetracycline and pentamidine. 9. A respiratory dispersion of claim 7 wherein the anti-infective agent comprises gentamicin. 10. A respiratory dispersion of claim 1 wherein at least one of the bioactive agents is an anti-inflammatory agent. 11. A respiratory dispersion of claim 10 wherein the anti-inflammatory agent comprises one or more anti-inflammatory agents selected from the group consisting of fluticasone, beclomethasone, flunisolide, budesonide, tripedane, cortisone, prednisone, prednisolone, dexamethoasone, betamethasone or triamcinalone. 12. A respiratory dispersion of claim 10 wherein at least one of the bioactive agents is an antineoplastic agent. 13. A respiratory dispersion of claim 10 wherein at least one of the bioactive agents is an antihistamine agent. 14. A respiratory dispersion of claim 10 wherein at least one of the bioactive agents is an anti-infective agent. 15. A respiratory dispersion of claim 14 wherein the anti-infective agent comprises one or more anti-infective agents selected from the group consisting of a cephalosporin, a macrolides, a quinolines, penicillin, streptomycin, a sulphonamides, tetracycline and pentamidine. 16. A respiratory dispersion of claim 15 wherein the anti-infective agent comprises gentamicin. 17. A respiratory dispersion of claim 10 wherein at least one of the bioactive agents is an antitubercular agent. 18. A respiratory dispersion of claim 1 wherein one of the bioactive agents comprises beclomethasone. 19. A respiratory dispersion of claim 1 wherein one of the bioactive agents comprises formoterol. 20. A respiratory dispersion of claim 1 wherein one of the bioactive agents comprises beclomethasone diproprionate and wherein one of the bioactive agents comprises formoterol. 21. A respiratory dispersion of claim 1 wherein one of the bioactive agents comprises budesonide and wherein one of the bioactive agents comprises formoterol. 22. A respiratory dispersion of claim 1 wherein one of the bioactive agents comprises fluticasone and wherein one of the bioactive agents comprises salmeterol. 23. A respiratory dispersion of claim 1 wherein one of the bioactive agents comprises fluticasone and wherein one of the bioactive agents comprises formoterol. 24. A respiratory dispersion of claim 1 wherein one of the bioactive agents comprises beclomethasone and wherein one of the bioactive agents comprises albuterol. 25. A respiratory dispersion of claim 1 wherein one of the bioactive agents is an anti-cholinergic agent. 26. A respiratory dispersion for the pulmonary delivery of a bronchodilator and an anti-inflammatory agent, the dispersion comprising a propellant suspension medium having dispersed therein a plurality of perforated microstructures, wherein the bronchodilator and the anti-inflammatory agent are incorporated into individual perforated microstructures, wherein the bronchodilator comprises one or more bronchodilators selected from the group consisting of ephedrine, adrenaline, fenoterol, formoterol, isoprenaline, metaproterenol, salbutamol, albuterol, salmeterol, and terbutaline and wherein the anti-inflammatory agent comprises one or more anti-inflammatory agents selected from the group consisting of fluticasone, beclomethasone, flunisolide, budesonide, tripedane, cortisone, prednisone, prednisolone, dexamethoasone, betamethasone or triamcinalone.
