A liquid treatment system that may be self-powered includes a hydro-generator. A flow of liquid may be used to rotate the hydro-generator to generate electric power. The hydro-generator may include an outer housing and an inner housing. The inner housing may include a first hub removeably engaged with a second hub. During manufacture, a plurality of paddles may be replaceably engaged between the first hub and the second hub. Also during manufacture, an electrical generator may be disposed in the inner housing. In operation, a flow of liquid may strike the paddles causing the inner housing to rotate. During rotation of the housing, the electrical generator may produce electrical power.

The method of claim 1, wherein providing a first hub and a second hub comprises forming a plurality of vents in at least one of the first hub or the second hub, or the combination thereof, wherein the vents are operable to provide at least one of liquid flow or gas flow, or the combination thereof, into and out of the housing. 6. A method of manufacturing a miniature hydro-generation system, the method comprising: providing a first half of a housing that includes a first interior cavity; providing a second half of the housing that includes a second interior cavity; disposing at least one of a rotor or a stator of an electrical generator in at least one of the first cavity or the second cavity; providing a plurality of paddles formed in an unbroken ring with a paddle section of each of the paddles extending away from the unbroken ring; aligning the paddles between the first half of the housing and the second half of the housing; and joining the first half of the housing and the second half of the housing so that the unbroken ring is held by at least one of the first half of the housing or the second half of the housing and the paddle section of each of the paddles extends away from the housing. 7. The method of claim 6, wherein joining the first half of the housing and the second half of the housing comprises surrounding at least one of the rotor or the stator with the first half of the housing, the second half of the housing and the unbroken ring. 8. The method of claim 6, wherein joining the first half of the housing and the second half of the housing comprises forming a single contiguous cavity with the first half of the housing, the second half of the housing, and the unbroken ring. 9. The method of claim 6, wherein aligning the paddles between the first half of the housing and the second half of the housing comprises aligning the unbroken ring to be partially inserted into the first interior cavity and the second interior cavity. 10. The method of claim 6, wherein aligning the paddles between the first half of the housing and the second half of the housing comprises positioning each of the paddles in a notch formed in at least one of the first half of the housing and the second half of the housing. 11. The method of claim 6, wherein aligning the paddles between the first half of the housing and the second half of the housing comprises assembling the unbroken ring with the first half of the housing and the second half of the housing so that the unbroken ring forms a portion of the housing when the first half of the housing is coupled with the second half of the housing. 12. The method of claim 6, wherein aligning the paddles between the first half of the housing and the second half of the housing comprises axially aligning the unbroken ring to be concentric with the first half of the housing and the second half of the housing. 13. The method of claim 6, wherein each of the paddles includes a base formed to include a first angled surface opposite a second angled surface, and joining the first half of the housing and the second half of the housing comprises coupling the first angled surface and the second angled surface with a surface of the first half of the housing and a second half of the housing, respectively. 14. A method of manufacturing a miniature hydro-generation system, the method comprising: assembling a plurality of paddles in a ring; providing a housing that is rotatable and includes a first half and a second half; including at least one of a stator and a rotor of a generator within a cavity formed within the housing with the first half and the second half; aligning the ring to be concentric with a central axis of the housing; adding an other paddle to the ring formed with the plurality of paddles when an inner diameter of the ring is less than an outer diameter of the housing; removing one of the paddles from the ring formed with the plurality of paddles when the inner diameter of the ring is greater than the outer diameter of the housing; and coupling the ring with the housing when the inner diameter of the ring and the outer diameter of the housing are in contact by coupling the ring to be fixedly held between the first half and the second half of the housing such that at least part of the paddles encircle the housing. 15. The method of claim 14, wherein forming the ring with the plurality of paddles comprises coupling together a base of each of the paddles to assemble the ring, and coupling the ring with the housing comprises coupling the base of each of the paddles to an outer surface of the housing. 16. The method of claim 14, wherein each of the paddles includes a base positioned opposite a paddle section of each of the paddles, the base formed to include a lower surface with a first predetermined radius of curvature, the first predetermined radius of curvature being similar to a second predetermined radius of curvature of an interior of the housing. 17.
